I still do not know why windows 9 was not released and instead, Microsoft decided to skip it and jumped to Windows 10

As the MS Gurus said at the time.. Because 7, 8, 9 (Seven ate Nine)

Boring I know.. but seeing as versions numbers and operating system names have never really lined up ..

Windows 95 was almost a 96 product..
we wont discuss the win 10 release numbers shall we?
