Suggest: Select changes to push downstream

Postby vmhs » Wed Aug 20, 2014 12:46 am

OK, I have been thinking about this alot.

The problem is that when I need to make a global change that affects all clientIDs, we currently have to update all clientIDs individually due to the fact that not all clientIDS are based on the same template.

Some have uniqueness to each of them.

An idea is to have a selectable checkbox along side each changeable section in the template, that says "push this to all clients now" or something of the like.

This way, if I need to change the Password for gmail as I have to do now, I could do it in one place, and push it out to all areas.

Either that, or we separate out global things and make them truly global and therefore independent of the templates.

Thanks
