Not report it when WinDefender disabled but a real AV is on

Postby Xander » Sat Jul 06, 2013 1:25 am

When Windows Defender is disabled and there's no other AV, I definitely want to be alerted -- especially on Win8 but, I think it's safe to say that most of us put a more robust AV on our client's computers so having a red herring alert like below might just be alarming our client's unnecessarily:

Maybe ONLY show Windows Defender at all if there is no other AV detected?

Can you swing the same functionality into D7 itself? (pretty please?)

(Note that I'd still consider two *active* AVs to be completely worth alerting me to; this suggestion applies almost exclusively to when WinDefend has been put on the back burner/deactivated)

already done, but will have to wait a bit for final release, as the next new thing I'm already implementing is gonna require a bit of pre-release testing.
