I have found this site: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/remote-access/tp/free-remote-access-software.htm listing 16 different Remote Access tools.

I have used teamviewer, dont like the price for the commercial version.

Have been playing with chunkvnc, but dont like the lack of UAC support. http://www.chunkvnc.com/

I then saw the aeroadmin - it says free for both home/commercial use.

Now, in my mind I ask, Why the heck would they just give it away?

Anyone using it?

Anyone checked it for odd traffic?

is it something we can use safely?

or is it something we need to look out for for as a security risk?

This seems like a great find, although I do not like my customers contacting me through phone or email in addition to the remote support. Using Aeroadmin you would have to be speaking with your customer to make the connection. I use Instant Housecall and like it especially because my customer can contact me directly on it. I do not need to be speaking with them for them to initiate a remote support request.
