dCloudLauncher changes

Postby Marshall » Wed Jun 05, 2013 2:53 pm

So I noticed today that dCloudLauncher drops the d7 folder right onto the user's desktop.

Is this configurable? I'm use to it being stored in the dCloudLauncher folder, and all of my scripts to clean up afterwards count on it being in there...

I would like to be able to configure it so that customer's don't repetitively see my files on their system. Having a D7 folder on the desktop confuses people when I'm running it and it show's up as a different name, with my logo, etc.

Plus it breaks my scripts, and I have to go re-write them :/

I have my D7 Cloud sfx to extract to desktop, but its not even doing that now. I recreated a new sfx this morning after dcloud kept wanting to update and now it extracts somewhere, and never loads.

Where do you have it configured to extract to?

Sorry for butting in, but I have the same "feature" :)

In the wizard, I set the default extraction point as "/", and dialog says the zip is saved to the desktop.

Erm...... It ain't there.
Can't find it ?

I like d7 to extract to the root, ie c:/d7.

Anyway
Cheers
